YES…you read right (SMH!!!) Feds Complete Investigation and Say “Not Enough Evidence” To Charge Darren Wilson in the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri and are now moving to officially clear him. Though many are not surprised it’s been a long trail of news headlines, suffering for the families and the #BlackLivesMatter movement since it happened so this is one last gut punch to say the least!
Feds Complete Investigation and Say “Not Enough Evidence” To Charge Darren Wilson after “pushing really hard” to come up with answers. After “interviewing over 200 people” and scoping out the scene in Ferguson the FBI says they have not found enough reason to charge him in a civil rights prosecution. Sources comment that in civil rights cases you have to show a “willful motive and intent to act in malice and wickedness.” The results of the grand jury statements (even though some have since been reported as false) and other conflicting facts of Michael Brown’s hands up or not etc. have compromised the charges they say.
“Prosecutors at the justice department have begun putting together the legal memo to basically rationalize why they’re not going to bring civil rights charges against Mr. Wilson.”
Many people will obviously be disappointed though many again are not surprised that Feds Complete Investigation and Say “Not Enough Evidence” To Charge Darren Wilson. Seeing a trial would have at least been righteous for the Brown family who will now have nothing to show for the wrenching loss of their son.
Officials are hoping communities remain peaceful in the wake of the decision.
