In light of recent allegations regarding the New England Patriots cheating & using deflated footballs to win Sunday’s AFC Championship game, Tom Brady has come to his team’s defense…read more details below!
Tom Brady claims to have heard it ALL by this point, saying deflated balls are the “last of my worries.”
Tom Brady isn’t buying that the New England Patriots used deflated balls during their 45-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship, according to WEEI.
Not long after the Patriots defeated the Colts, it was reported the NFL was looking into whether the Patriots deflated footballs used in the game. The league confirmed that it will investigate on Monday morning.
During his Monday morning appearance with Dennis & Callahan, Brady said he didn’t put much stock in those allegations, calling them “ridiculous.”
“I think I’ve heard it all at this point,” he said with a laugh. “That’s the last of my worries. I don’t even respond to stuff like this.”
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk also reported that several balls were removed from the game Sunday for being underinflated. Even if the Patriots are found guilty of deflating footballs, their dominating win shows a couple of missing PSI in the balls probably wouldn’t have affected the final outcome.
If investigation deem the allegations true, The New England Patriots will lose future top draft picks!!!
