Hip hop mogul and Southside Jamaica Queens Native 50 Cent is doing his part to help put an end to hunger in his own home of America.

As highlighted by a recent story on CNN called “From Hip-Hop To Hunger,” 50 Cent recently stopped by a New York City food bank to help the organization, Feeding America, in its efforts to feed the reported 49 million Americans that are what is known as “food insecure.”
“Feeding America is the best charitable organization to be a part of if hunger is your cause,”
“I had it pretty rough, but not to the point where there wasn’t something to eat. But now, I’m seeing a lot of kids that have even tougher stories than what I experienced.”

50 Cents SMS Audio company has partnered with Feeding America to provide a whopping 250 meals to families in need for every pair of SMS headphones that are sold online. Every year, Feeding America, a whole bunch of food banks all across the nation, feeds tens of millions of people. The 35 year old organization has more than 200 members and annually serves at least 12 million children and 7 million senior citizens.
