A man from Chicopee Massachusetts faces charges for posting ‘Put Wings On Pigs’ on his Facebook page, This is considered a threat considering the last man, Ismaaiyl Brinsley that posted that did indeed kill two police officers, and then turned the gun on himself. He also shot his girlfriend in the stomach. Many reports stated that the man had metal health issues. Is that the case for the Chicopee man? Check out the full story below
DiRosa posted the status days after Ismaaiyl Brinsley used it on his Instagram. The 28-year-old Brinsley then traveled to New York City and fatally shot two patrol officers in the head Saturday. Afterward, he ran in to a local subway station, where he killed himself.
“In the eyes of every police officer in America today, ‘putting wings on pigs’ is a threat,” commented Michael Wilk, a spokesman for the Chicopee Police Department.
The department’s detective bureau will file a complaint with Chicopee District Court against DiRosa. A trial will commence if the court determines the complaint is legitimate.
An anonymous source sent the police a link to DiRosa’s account, allowing them to see the message. The department is also sending out an advisory to other departments in the state.
