The Los Angeles Lakers team plane was decked out in celebratory signs after Kobe Bryant passed Michael Jordan for 3rd all-time in points scored.

Kobe Bryant has scored more points than all but two players to ever appear in the NBA. The feat didn’t go unnoticed when he clinched that distinction with a pair of free throws in Minnesota, and it certainly didn’t escape the peripheral of those manning the Los Angeles Lakers team plane after the game.
Ever the professional, Kobe Bryant keeps chugging along even as the Lakers flounder around him. The team sits at 8-16 after their 100-94 victory over the Timberwolves, but that’s not for lack of Kobe, who has averaged over 25 points per game during the team’s wretched start. Now Bryant sits behind only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone on the all-time points list.
