This is the Oklahoma City Thunder wrapped up in a 17-second video. We all laugh at Russell Westbrook’s crazy shots and ignoring the team’s star player and reigning MVP, Kevin Durant but after watching this video I don’t know if I want to laugh and/or shake my head.
Kevin Durant was wide open and asking for the ball but after a few seconds of going unnoticed, Durant simply put his hands on his knees and watched Westbrook do his thing…
Westbrook continued to dribble and spin around the Sixers defenders as the clock ticked down before he decided to take a long three which ended up being an airball.
In Westbrook’s defense:
1. It was the Philadelphia 76ers
2. He finished with a game-high 27 points (8-14 FG, 10-14 FT), five rebounds and seven ASSISTS, so he did pass the ball
3. Durant finished with 10 points (3-11 from the field) and couldn’t buy a shot last night.
Still the play was pretty funny to watch.
The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Philadelphia 76ers 103-91 bringing their record to 6-13 and 12th place in the Western Conference. They still have quite a bit of work to do to make their way back up in the rankings now that they have their two stars, Durant and Westbrook back from injuries.
