Director Ridley Scott has his hands full with new movies Exodus:Gods and Kings. Scott has chosen 11 year old Issac Andrews to depict the Voice of God.
Ridley Scott made a powerful decision in his new movie “Exodus: Gods and Kings”. Casting eleven year old Issac Andrews of the UK. Andrews is no rookie in the film indusrty however having been in Hercules, “Blackwood” and british romance comedy “Having You”. Dealing with Bible interpretations is always foggy, Scott explained “Sacred texts give no specific depiction on God so for centuries artists and filmmakers have had to chose their own visual depiction. contiuing that Issac who plays Malak “exudes innocence and purity and those two qualities are extremely powerful”. Malaks character is seen by the burning bush and through him Moses realizes God is channeling energy. Exodus will be released in American theaters Dec 12. Peep the Gallery for a close look at “God”.
