The story of every rappers life is that they are number one – Danny Brown is no different. The Detroit emcee spoke with, The Huffington Post and declares that credit isn’t given where credit is due when it comes down to his lyrical skills.
“I still don’t feel like I have the respect I deserve. I’m the best rapper ever and I need to be respected,” he says. It’s time that he shows what this rap game is all about.

Other than his claim to the throne, Brown mentions what to look forward to with the follow-up to OLD, the album.
“It’s probably going to be a shorter release than normal because I’m trying to glance perfection with this one. With previous projects I had to branch out and show my range. But with this one, I feel like people know what I can do and what I’m capable of, so now it’s just time for me to show that I can make perfect.”
* Huge fan of Danny’s – HUGE – but I’m not too sure I would give him the best EVER. His fast-to-slow pace at any moment, word usage and uniqueness put him in a category with some of the greats, but he’s going to have to show me, “ever” on this upcoming album.
