Rivers and the San Diego Chargers handed it to the NY Jets Last night in a win 31-0. Rivers was throwing touch downs like there was no defense. Rookie, Brandon Oliver made his debut and score two touch downs! What NY was doing, the world may never know. New York didn’t make it anywhere close to the the 50-yard line until 7:35 left in the 4th.. && had 4 1st downs through 3 quarters. SHEESH!
‘We talk about it all the time. Not just being tough, but who’s going to be the toughest the longest, through four quarters, through 16 games, through a tough stretch, they aren’t all going to be like this. We might hit a bump in the road going forward, but I think our toughness has been shown the last five weeks. The last time the Chargers did any kind of damage as they did in this shut out was in 2010. NY we have to redeem ourselves
