In WTF Rap News Of The Day: Legendary rapper, Big Pun’s mother, Gail Tirado is being accused of robbing a Wells Fargo bank in Florida.

63-year-old Gail Simpson was arrested Tuesday after making her second attempt at robbing a bank – the first time was earlier this year, which she’s already on probation for. It’s being said that the women who robbed the bank has an alias of Gail A. Tirado in connection with the name Simpson.

Apparently times have remained hard for the Rios clan. After the, “100%” rapper’s passing, Pun’s wife at the time of his 2000 heart attack filed reported that her family had to live in a shelter, because she didn’t get any monies. Just last month, she filed a lawsuit against Fat Joe in another attempt to gain royalties that she believes is due to her family.

TMZ who got their hands on the suit, states:

Liza Rios is beside herself … she says in a new lawsuit — obtained by TMZ — hubby Big Pun had a deal with Fat Joe to split the fortune Pun made from songs like “I’m Not A Player.”

Liza says a few years after her 700-pound husband died from a heart attack in 2000 … Joe turned off the spigot and she hasn’t gotten a penny since 2005 … even though the records continued to sell.

It’s especially maddening for Liza, because Fat Joe released posthumous albums years after Big Pun died.

She wants more than a million bucks.
