Usher explains why doesn’t regret his two year marriage to ex-wife, Tameka Foster in the September issue of O Magazine.
Despite the ugly split from his ex-wife, the singer explains getting married young was his “best mistake” and has no regrets. The R&B singer who was 28 at the time, married Foster, who was his stylist, in 2007 but broke up two years later.
The now 35-year-old tells O Mag, “Most people probably think I regret it because I ended up getting divorced, but it helped me learn that sometimes I think I know more than I actually do.”
But of course the best things to come out of that marriage are his two sons, Naviyd Ely Raymond,5, and Usher Raymond V,6,.
