The Standard wanted no parts of this media frenzy surrounding Jay Z and Solange. That’s why shortly after the elevator incident, the hotel announced that they were planning to prosecute anyone responsible for the leaking of the video. So far, they’ve found the one responsible. Since, they’ve fired him. According to reports, the Standard had hired Hollywood lawyer Marty Singer after the press leak, who was investigating who shopped the tape. Turns out that the tape was sold for $250,000. More info after the jump.
