It’s very common for people in the entertainment industry to end up loosing their hard-earned $$ and having to file for bankruptcy. Too add to the list, yet another famous actor is going through some financial blues. Former “8 Mike” star Mekhi Phifer filed for bankruptcy just a few weeks ago, claiming approximately $67,000 in assets. His debt is currently roughly at $1.3 million dollars. According to court documents, Phifer’s total monthly income is $7,500 but his total bills come out to $11,600. The documents also give a detailed break-down of his debt. He owes $1.2M in taxes, $4,500 in child support and $50K in lawyer bills. Let’s hope he gets his hosting game up and starts landing some roles for some new flicks!
