The whole community of upper Manhattan is saddened by the tragic explosion that occurred in East Harlem earlier this month. Two buildings collapsed on East 116st and Park Ave. due to a natural gas leak explosion, leaving many families homeless. Bronx’s Angels Charity and El Museo Del Barrio, a cultural staple in East Harlem, are teaming up to help the East Harlem explosion relief effort. There will be a clothing and food drive on Saturday, March 29th from 11am to 4pm at El Museo Del Barrio (1230 Fifth Ave, NY). Please stop by to donate canned goods, gently used clothes, and toiletries. All donations will go to the displaced families.
