Woohoo! The best female talk show host out of New Jersey has donated more than a few of her personal items to be inducted and posted into the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.
Curator Dwight Blocker Bowers joins Wendy Williams on an episode (airing Friday) of her, “messy little talk show” as she calls it, so that he can take some specialty items that once belonged to her and put in a glass shield for the museum’s pop-culture/entertainment collection.
“…I’m thrilled to bits that one of America’s most revered institutions — that I went to as a child! — deems me worthy enough to preserve this little bit of history for everyone to share,” Wendy says. “This is such an amazing honor. I’m not sure anything in my life has ever compared to it…,” she adds.
Wendy has been around for a very longtime now, making this long overdue. CONGRATULATIONS!
