A 12 year old, New Mexico student has left two other students hospitalized after bringing a gun to school, hit the jump for more!
A student at Berrendo Middle School, in Roswell, New Mexico was arrested after entering his school gym and opening fire upon two students. The 7th grader, allegedly, walked into the Middle school’s gym, unpacked a shotgun from his book bag and “opened fire on students” before school started. An eighth grade teacher bravely intervened and asked the student to give him the gun, and he did.
“Mr. Masterson … was a hero …who stood there and allowed a gun to be pointed right at him. And to talk down that young boy to drop the gun so that there would be no more young kids hurt.”
The incident has left students in shock, especially one 7th grader, who witnessed two of her friends get shot:
“I don’t want to go to Berrendo again because of what happened,” she told CNN’s Piers Morgan. “Because I’m afraid it’s going to happen again.
