William’s brother found out that someone would be bringing a gun to the party on Facebook. The 16 year old’s parents warned their son not to go and told him there was going to be a shoot out. To their dismay, the parents worries turned out to be true. Tiana Williams, Iquan’s mother, said she called her son around 9 p.m. and he said that he would not attend the party. Someone opened fire at 10:30 p.m., killing Iquan and critically injuring another partygoer. Police still have not found the gunman.
