San Francisco turned into a clip out of a comic to help make a 5 year old’s cancer patient’s wish come true. Miles Scott, a kindergartener from Tulelake, California, has been battling leukemia since he was 18 months old. His leukemia has been in remission, since he’s finished treatment in June but the illness can return at anytime. What kept him strong? Miles grew a fascination with super heroes and asked San Francisco’s Make A Wish Foundation to make him Batkid. Awwwwwww. To read more and see pictures, click below.
Miles wish came true when San Francisco turned into Gotham City just for him. 12,000 “Gotham” residents spilled into the streets to support “Batkid” and police closed major roads for fans. Even Michelle and Obama shouted out the 5 year old on their Twitters and Vines to congratulate him on his new super hero role.
This is too cute. God bless everyone who supported Miles in his journey to heal and congratulations to him for being the tiniest super hero on the West Coast.
