In the unsolved mystery of the tragic death of the young beauty queen JonBenet, new allegations have surfaced accusing parents John and Patsy Ramsey, of being an accessory to their child’s murder, hit the jump for more!
1999 court documents surfaced today alleging that the Ramsey parents were accused of “child abuse resulting in death and being an accessory to a crime, including murder, in connection to their 6-year-old daughter JonBenét.” It has yet to be released who actually killed the young star in the making, the parents are being accused of placing their young daughter in a dangerous situation.
Although the jury indicted the parents, they were not convicted in the case due to former district attorney Alex Hunter refused to sign the documents during the 1999 trial. The parents and immediate family were acquitted in 2008, after DNA evidence pointed to an unknown male as the child’s killer.
Patsy Ramsey the mother of JonBenet passed in 2006 from Cancer, leaving Benet’s father, John Ramsey to fend for himself as the new allegations surface. John Ramsey is asking for the entire 1999 grand jury record to be shared publicly, in order to “prove” his innocence, to which the the judge denied due to security purposes.
“I’m not sure that the release of this indictment is going to change the fact that there has not been able to be a prosecution and probably won’t be able to be a prosecution,” stated Former prosecutor and law professor Karen Steinhauser.
