A bloody stretch of gun fire across NYC struck 12 victims, starting on Friday and ending just before 5 p.m. on Saturday. Three people were killed and two were wounded in the Bronx, two people were killed and four were wounded in Brooklyn, and one person was wounded in Queens. To read more, click below.
The first victim was a 28 year old Bronx man, Tyrek Singleton, who had a lengthy criminal past and died as a result of a gunshot to his midsection in Adams Houses on Friday. A second man, who survived the shooting on Tinton Ave., informed police that there was no arguments prior to the gunfire. The night’s second fatal shooting occurred in East New York, Brooklyn, when two men were shot on Pennsylvania Ave. 21 year old Tevin Beckles and 37 year old Randolph Williams, who also had lengthy criminal records, were both shot in the chest and died at Brookdale University Hospital. With in two hours of the deaths of the Brooklyn men, 2 more men in the Bronx were shot on Saturday. Pablo Pagan was shot in his head and killed. Police found his body at his apartment in the Murphey Houses around 2:15 a.m. Two hours later, 24 year old Marco Castillo was shot to death after having an argument with two men on Ward and Westchester Ave.
Not a single arrest has been made in regards to these shootings.
