DREAM SCHOOL – the title of a new reality television show to be airing on the Sundance Channel. 50 Cent serve as the executive producer of the series. We’ll get a chance to view the lives of 15 high school dropouts – ranging from teen parents to drug users, etc. – that are using this opportunity to finally be able to graduate. Fif will serve as a mentor, and he’s even got a hold of David Arquette as homeroom teacher, Swizz Beatz as music teacher, Reverend Jesse Jackson teaching civil rights and Soledad O’Brien dropping the knowledge of journalism. I commend the rapper turned entrepreneur, but after the dreadful text messages to his son, Marquise back in July you wonder, what’s the relationship like with his own child – while he’s out here teaching another’s kid. Hit the jump and check out what Fif had to say about his son “fearing” him.
Don’t forget, hit up the gallery and check it out as 50, David, and Swizz talk to MTV ACT about the program!
MTV ACT asked Fif if his son, “fears” him, and the obvious answer was, “Yeah…You wait until your mother finds out,” is a phrase that the boy knows too well. “I’ve always made him feel like he’s the man when I’m not around, so it’s his job to make sure everything’s alright, to take care of your mother, to not give her a hard time,” 50 cent states as a matter of fact. For that he’s a strict father only in “certain areas.” Stern…we need more like him – MAYBE!
