This should be fun! Gotta love some good trash talk before a game…even though it’s not until Sunday. Eagles WR DeSean Jackson is ready to go and had some things to say about Bucs CB Darrelle Revis — and meant no disrespect by it. Ok, DeSean – we know what you’re doing!
Check it out…

DeSean Jackson is looking forward to Sunday’s trip to Tampa Bay and Revis Island.
“I’m sure [Darrelle Revis] will follow me around,” Jackson said Tuesday. “He followed me around when he was with the New York Jets two years ago. I’m sure his coaches are confident in him. But I don’t think he can run with me. I don’t think he’s as fast as me.”
Jackson said Revis teased him to that effect when the Eagles played the Jets in 2011.
“He was like, ‘You’re too fast, slow down,'” Jackson said. “I’m just going to try to put my speed on him and stress on him as I can. I’ve got to do what I need to.”
Jackson was quick to make it clear that his own self-confidence doesn’t come from disrespect for Revis. Quite the opposite. Jackson relishes the opportunity to pit himself against the league’s best cornerbacks.
“You’re always aware of who’s one of the best corners, and vice versa,” Jackson said. “He’s aware of who are the fastest receivers. He’s a great player. I don’t want to take away from him. He has elusiveness, he’s smart, he has intelligence, he has feet work. He’s one of those guys, he knows what he’s doing. He’s comfortable and he’s confident playing press or playing off the ball.”
