Just when we think the world is changing for the better, people do things like this to ruin it. An interracial couple Jacob James-Vogel and his wife Billie were leaving a bar in Queens with their gay friend when they were viciously attacked. As they were being beaten, the assailants yelled out homophobic and racist slurs.
The couple was dining at an Asian fusion restaurant named Shi on Center Blvd. in Long Island City on Friday night when they were attacked by a group of men at approximately 1:45 A.M. upon leaving.
“I try to get them off my husband. One of them grabs me and throws me to the ground. The back of my head bounces off the concrete sidewalk and I black out,” Billie James-Vogel said about the attack.
Billie Jacob-James also adds, “When I think about the slurs, the N-word and the F-word, it hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It breaks my heart.”
Hopefully these clowns get nailed by the NYPD and have to suffer for their actions.
