Yesterday, Usher’s ex-wife, Tameka Raymond, took to “Good Morning America” to explain her frame of mind during the time that her son, Usher V, was in the hospital for almost drowning. During the interview, it’s safe to say that we noticed that she was very upset, not only because this was her son fighting for his life, but because she had to go through something similar when her son from an previous relationship passed away from a jet-skiing accident. She also explains why she decided to promptly file for custody during her son’s recovery, stating “”I didn’t blame [Usher] for it. I just was angry that it happened on his watch because while accidents happen, never have my children been injured on my watch.” Check out the interview after the jump.
Simply put, she claims to want her children. Especially when Usher’s on the road. Regarding this, in the interview she says, “”I had to see on Instagram that my 4-year-old lost his first tooth. That’s my baby, you know? Things that are precious moments, milestone moments, I’m just missing them.”
