The new ultra tough glass meant for touchscreen notebooks and laptops is called Gorilla Glass NBT. Corning does not go into specific detail as to what about it sets it apart from regular Gorilla Glass we do know that it is more scratch resistant as well as less scratch visibility. The glass is a lot thinner, lighter, and cheaper than other glasses on the market. The good news about this new glass is that is more resistant to the regular swiping and tapping that would usually scuff up a touchscreen device the bad news is it won’t be out until next year.
