Microsoft is working on a new smartphone technology that will have the ability to detect your mood and automatically share it with your friends on whatever social media websites your linked to. This new technology would work by using “mood sensors” better know as MoodScope to measure the mood of the person and in turn classify them as happy, calm, stressed, excited, etc. They see this as a new way to connect via social medias since often times people do not truly express how they are feeling. They say this new mood detection technology would help other websites such as Netflix and Spotify to better preference their users.
