Wyclef Jean finally commented on his ex-boo-thang/ estranged Fugees’ member Lauryn Hill in connection to her recent run-in with the law regarding tax evasion. Wyclef Jean kept it short and sweet with his words. Hit the jump to find out what he said!
Hill reported last week via a note to her fans saying how she recently entered into a new record deal with Sony Worldwide Entertainment to help pay her taxes. The judge granted her an extension until May 6th to pay her $968,000 tax debt. Wyclef kept it brief and said that he believed Hill’s new deal with Sony “would be nothing short of great” and he also suggested that she learns to keep better company around her. Hopefully everything works out for Ms. Hill so she doesn’t get sent away to the joint. YIKES!
