Lauryn Hill’s life went down in flames cause of terrifying threats? Cause that was it sure damn seems like. Hill claims that the reason she hasn’t paid Uncle Sam is the same reason her career went down in tubes in the 90’s… threats. She’s asking for forgiveness! 06-07 when she earned a total of more than $1.8 million, she didn’t pay her taxes cause “when she withdrew from society at large due to what she perceived as manipulation and very real threats to herself and her family.” Only thing is? She wasn’t specific about WHAT the threats were. Lauryn is pleading for probation, but we’ll find out on April 22nd.
