Bon Jovi has been a New Jersey music staple for years now and the band is current on another tour. News broke last week that Richie Sambora was leaving the legendary band because of issues with Jon himself. Now, sources are saying that Richie didn’t quit the band, he was pushed out of it! Apparently Richie is still a heavy party-er who still drinks heavily, dabbles in drugs, and enjoys the company of many women and Jon is no longer about that life! It seems as if Jon wants Richie to go back to rehab for what would be the third time, but Richie doesn’t want to. Read more below.
The source claims that Jon’s wife, Dorothea, wants the tour to be drug and liquor free. Richie and the women he surrounds himself with really don’t care about being sober. I’m sure Richie could sit back and make plenty of money without touring just on the band’s old music alone. For now, Theofilos “Phil X” Xenidis is filling in for Bon Jovi.
