The 15th-seeded Florida Golf Coast University Eagles tried to continue their amazing cinderella story last night when they took on the 3rd-seeded Florida Gators in a historical Sweet Sixteen NCAA tourney showdown. Unfortunately for the Eagles the Gators proved to be too much and won the game 62-50, but one Eagle still won. Read more after the jump.
FGCU guard Sherwood Brown snapped a picture with the enemy, a Gators cheerleader before the game. The picture surely raised a lot of eyebrows when basketball writer Peter Robert Casey posted the pic with a fitting caption.
