Google Chrome released a new feature this as part of its update that allows for spell checking. The feature is called “Ask Google for suggestions” and it’s powered by the same technologies used for Google search. Users on Windows, Linux and Chrome OS will get the feature update soon. The only problem is your searches could be getting monitored.
The FBI has issued thousands of National Security Letters to companies ,Google being on of them, that allows the government to get detailed information on your searches and websites you have visited. Google has admitted to getting these letters and actually published a report on the number of NSL’s they receive per year and the number of accounts they had been Subpoenaed to hand over.
