Many Knicks fans probably don’t want to hear this but there could be a trade in the works. Read more after the jump.
According to Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld, sources say the Knicks have interest in shooting guard Jared Dudley from the Phoenix Suns. There’s no word yet on who they would offer or if any talks have even begun.
It’s well known however that the Suns have a huge interest in young guard Iman Shumpert. Shump is a fan favorite and trading him would no doubt cause quite a stir especially with the Knicks clicking as well as they are now.
According to Moke Hamilton of SNY Shumpert, Novak/Camby and Kurt/Rasheed for Dudley and Telfair works under NBA cap rules.
Nothing has materialized yet but we’ll see what happens the NBA trade deadline is February 21st.
