The sequel to the hilariously amazing movie Anchorman was announced about a year ago, and now as we get closer to its release, more details are being revealed! The guys have yet to go into production, but we do know that the entire original cast signed on and it will hit theaters on December 20th. And today thanks to castmember Christina Applegate, we found out someone new has been added to the cast…and she’s such a perfect fit! Find out who below.
“So excited Kristen Wiig has joined our cast for Anchorman 2,” Christina tweeted. “Going 2 b best movie ever made. Besides the best movies ever made.”
Can’t wait for her to bring some of her Bridesmaids humor to the cast! Word is she will be playing Steve Carell’s girlfriend in the movie. This should be good!
