After a week of talks that failed to break the impasse between the Rockets and rookie forward Royce White, the Rockets suspended White on Sunday, a week after he refused the team’s assignment to the NBA Development League.
Rockets general manager Daryl Morey had been in talks with White throughout the week, but was unable to reach an agreement in which White would report to his assignment with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
White responded via twitter to the suspension.
