Over 70% of back or front-over incidents, are usually a parent or close relative behind the wheel. There is, in fact, a law in place that calls for new manufacturing requirements to improve the visibility behind passenger vehicles to help prevent such fatal back/front over crashes. The government estimates they kill some 228 people every year – 110 of them children age 10 and under. You would think after 5 years, the change would be made but the biggest issue: Money!!
