The Spurs Halloween costumes were funny at first but now they’re going to cause some controversy. Read more after the jump.
Tony Parker was dressed up as Nick Fury and Tim Duncan was dressed as The Punisher. In this photo they’re using their fake guns on a fellow party-goer dressed as controversial NBA referee Joey Crawford. The Spurs were recently fined $250,000 when coach Greg Popovich decided to send his starters Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobli, Tony Parker and Danny Green home instead of to Miami to play against the Heat in a nationally televised game. Of course that didn’t make commissioner David Stern happy and neither will this photo. So much for the Spurs being the most boring team in the league…
