Kim K knew from the get that she wasn’t going to the VMAs.. but is she the reason Kanye didn’t attend either?!
Reports claimed Kanye West canceled because his girlfriend Kim K couldn’t make it due to previous engagements. Of course, Kim denies and claims this:
“No, no, he’s working,” Kardashian said at the launch of her new fragrance, True Reflection, at Lord & Taylor for Fashion’s Night Out in New York City. “He’s recording an album. I’m sure he’d love to be there, but he’s out of town.”
Why didn’t Kim go to the VMAs? Well of course, money reasons. She had to promote her fifth fragrance during NY’s Fashion Night Out.
“Well, we shot the commercial for it,” Kardashian said, referencing the one-minute promo spot she and West recorded with this year’s VMAs host, Kevin Hart. “Back then, I knew this was booked months in advance. So I always knew I wasn’t going to be able to attend.”
