Yesterday Lil Wayne tweeted that he was denied access to the Thunder v. Spurs playoff game and fueled a bunch of theories that it may have something to do with James Harden and Trina. Â Well apparently that’s not the case. Â Read more after the jump.
The real reason Lil Wayne was denied access to the game was because he didn’t have a ticket. Â According to the Associated Press:
“Thunder spokesman Dan Mahoney says Lil Wayne’s representatives did contact the team requesting tickets but insisted that he sit on the front row, and none of those seats was available. Oklahoma City sold out every home game during the regular season and playoffs this season. Mahoney says: ‘We’d love to have him at a game, but like anyone else, he needs a ticket.”
Sorry Lil Wayne I know you’re a huge rapper and all but clearly you need a ticket to watch the game. Â Also to clear up the possible Trina rumors, James Harden tweeted this last night:
Although if I was Harden I wouldn’t have done that. Â Lil Wayne is biggest bandwagon in the game, “Go Spurs” and Lakers, Heat etc.
