Earlier today, Trayvon Martin’s killer George Zimmerman took his want to apologize to Trayvon’s parents further, and requested a private meeting with them. Just moments ago, they responded to his request. Details below.
The Tampa Times reports they will not grant that request any time soon!
Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton were informed of George Zimmerman’s request for a meeting on the eve of his bail hearing Friday.
But now, Benjamin Crump, the family’s attorney said, is not the time for such a meeting.
“Some crimes on their face are non-bondable offense. Second-degree murder is one of them,” Crump said. “We didn’t just demand an arrest to have George Zimmerman give the police his fingerprints and his mug shot.”
The family received a warm welcome as a group of about 400 people gave their condolences and offered their support in getting justice for Trayvon during a town hall meeting at Beulah Baptist Institutional Church.
