According to a FDA study, over 2,000 bottles of the Aveeno Baby lotion contained excess amounts of natural occuring bacteria.
The bacteria was identified as coagulase-negative Staphylococci, which naturally occurs in the environment. It can lead to health problems such as central nervous system or urinary tract infections. Strains are resistant to antibiotics.
