Dallas Mavericks guard Jose Juan Barea and Boston Celtics point guard Carlos Arroyo will play for Puerto Rico at this month’s Pan American Games.
The two players will start practicing with the national team next week, Puerto Rico’s Basketball Federation vice president Ricardo Carrillo said.
Carrillo added that Daniel Santiago also will join the team Friday.
The Pan American Games will be held in Guadalajara, Mexico, and feature athletes from 42 countries.
