Multi-Billionaire drug cartel boss Joaquin (El Chapo) Guzman’s wife has given birth to twin girls in California. The wife has now left to Mexico with girls police could not make any arrests or stop her to try and find his whereabouts because she has not done anything wrong. Her hubby is Mexico’s most wanted drug lord, responsible for a huge chunk of the coke and pot that flows into the U.S.
And their twin daughters were born in a California hospital.
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Emma Coronel, the third, or fourth wife of Joaquin (El Chapo) Guzman, had the babies Aug. 15 at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, Calif.
Coronel, 22, is an American citizen, and since her daughters were born in the U.S., they are too. She returned to Mexico with the twins after their birth.
Coronel printed her name on the birth certificate, but left the father’s name blank, The Times reported. U.S. authorities said they didn’t arrest her because she’s not been charged with a crime.
Her 54-year-old multibillionaire husband heads the ultraviolent Sinaloa Cartel.
He reportedly met Coronel when she entered a regional beauty contest; they were married shortly after she turned 18 in a lavish wedding.
Guzman was arrested in 1993 but escaped prison in 2001, the Times said.
There is a $5 million reward for his arrest.
He is protected by his own private Army, The Times said, and believed to be hiding in Mexico’s highlands.
