Carmelo Anthony is feeling good, and offseason surgery has something to do with it.

The New York Knicks star reported that he had simultaneous surgeries on his left knee and elbow in May, according to the New York Post.

He revealed what the Knicks did not report after going for 31 points and 17 rebounds in Sunday night’s “Battle for I-95” charity basketball game in Philadelphia at the Palestra, which also featured LeBron James and Chris Paul.

“Can’t tell, can you?” Anthony said, according to the Post.

“I did both of them,” he added. “They were bothering me seven years.”

Anthony returned to the court in August with Team Melo, which has been barnstorming against other star-studded teams.

Anthony also said that his weight is down to 230 pounds, four pounds less than what he played at last season.

“I would be coming back at training camp, if there is one, less than I left last year,” Anthony said, according to the newspaper. ” I feel good mentally and physically. My mindset is about starting next week. That’s where my mindset is at and body is at. Games are fun for charity, but at the same time we want to get something out of it.”
