Giffords attended a Saturday night dinner with doctors and nurses from University Medical Center who treated her in the days after while she was in intensive care.
Her spokesman, Mark Kimble, says seeing the doctors and nurses was the focus of Giffords’ trip but she also had dinner with him.
Giffords and her husband, retired astronaut Mark Kelly, arrived in Tucson Friday evening and returned to Houston Monday.
She has not made any announcements about returning to work or whether she will seek re-election.
