Cops busted David D. Little at a trailer park in Oakland County, Mich., on Monday night after the trailer’s owner came home to find the house cat, Bentley, and Little soaked in blood.

“He appeared under the influence of some mind-altering drug, and we believed he smoked some synthetic drug of some type, causing the behavior,” Farmington Hills Police Chief Chuck Nebus told The Detroit News.

The baby-faced brute was charged on Tuesday with animal cruelty, a felony that could put him away for four years.

“It’s hard to believe someone would do something like this to an animal,” Nebus told the Detroit newspaper.

Bentley was in the custody of the county’s animal control division, who told Detriot’s WJBK television that the stricken feline was alive, but may end up blind in one or both eyes.

The cat’s owner was not identified.

Little was in jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
