(AHH) – Beanie Sigel appeared in court today (August 9th), where he pleaded guilty in Federal court to owing almost $350,000 in back taxes.
The rapper was originally accused of failing to report over $1,000,000 in income.
The Internal Revenue Service claims that Beanie Sigel failed to pay taxes from 2003 to 2005, when he was an artist on Roc-A-Fella Records.
According to reports, Siegel’s lawyer Fortunato Perri Jr. will challenge the government’s calculations.
Beanie Sigel is slated to be sentenced on November 18th.
