Earlier Today Space shuttle Atlantis, docked safely at the International space Station, but now the shuttle may face dangers from 50 years ago from a Soviet Rocket that Yuri Gagarin took flight on.  There is a chance that the rocket may collide with the shuttle on Tuesday.

NASA was informed that the debris will pass very close to the space shuttle, when they plan on doing their first and only space walk of the mission.  NASA says it still early to tell if any major maneuvers are needed to avoid the debris that is heading towards shuttle.  At this time NASA has a full team working to determine if there is any danger or threat heading towards the spacecraft.  If there is any danger involved NASA says the shuttle can use their thrusters to move the space station out of harm’s way .NASA expects any maneuvers would be made Monday night and doesn’t know yet how this will affect Tuesday’s spacewalk.
