At the shoot for Funk Flex: Laced Up (premiering on MTV 2 Sucka Free Sunday on 11-28 at 1:30pm), I picked these up off the table and laughed at how weird they were…but was QUICKLY schooled by the males on set that these are definitely what’s hot right now. I did my research and the LeBron 8’s were originally released last month exclusively in Miami. There’s much hype surrounding this one and not only because the “colorway is crazy”, but it’s a celebration of LeBron finding a new home in Miami.
The shoe sports Nike’s new shade of teal known as “Retro†throughout the smooth leather upper, and black and pink flash accents giving it that real “Miami Vice†look. Filiment green translucent 360 Air unit on the bottom.
