Amazon To Release A NEW Pilot!!!
Amazon announced it will add cult classic Zombieland to the line-up of pilots already in production for Prime Instant Video. Zombieland, which is is based on the Columbia Pictures movie of the same name, will be made available for free on Amazon Instant Video. The other pilots include Alpha House, Browsers, Dark Minions, Onion News Empire, Supanatural and Those Who Can’t.
Amazon Developing ‘Zombieland’ Series For It’s Original Programming Push
Amazon is looking to develop its own orignal series, and first in line is the popular zombie flick Zombieland. Amazon is planning to turn the flick into a TV. The horror flick featured featured Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Woody Harrelson, no word if Amazon plans on using the same actors for the TV series. The TV series was originally slated to be shown on CBS but i guess Amazon is ready to move forward with it’s own series since Netflix has it’s own series planned fo 2013. “But as Netflix prepares for its own original content push this year with House of Cards February 1st and later Arrested Development, it’s clear Amazon will be giving the streaming service competition before long” according to The Verge.
