A scary moment at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh Thursday as an F-16 fighter jet slid off the runway and crashed into the grass.All morning you could see and hear two F-16 fighter jets tearing through the sky.Just after 11 A.M., as the two Alabama Air Guard jets were coming in, one of those seemed to be going too fast to stop in time and ran out of runway.Witnesses said it looked like trouble from the moment the jet touched down. @TatWZA @Yungjohnnybravo

Spotify has only been operating in the U.S. for two weeks, but already it’s being sued for patent infringement.Earlier this week, Packet Video, a company that develops software to help people wirelessly listen to music and watch video, sued Spotify in the U.S. and the Netherlands for allegedly violating U.S. patent 5,636,276. According to PacketVideo, the patent, which it secured in 1997 by acquiring Switzerland-based company Basel, relates to the “distribution of music in digital form.” In a statement, PacketVideo said that Spotify’s use of its patented technology “enables Spotify’s cloud-based music service.” @TatWZA @YungJohnnybravo

Research firm IDC released its latest Worldwide Mobile Phone Tracker report on Thursday and revealed that shipments of Apple’s iPhone jumped 142% over the same period last year.
